The Soldiers and Sailors of the Confederacy Monument is located on South Confederate Avenue in Gettysburg Pennsylvania. This monument was created by Donald De Lue and dedicated on August 25, 1965 to honor all members of the Confederate armed forces.
It depicts a charging color bearer (Walter Washington Williams of a Texas regiment) calling for his comrades to follow.
